Mealtime Struggles

About the Event
Why do power struggles happen so often at mealtimes? In this mini-workshop for parents of young children, we will discuss Satter’s Division of Responsibility model, a proven feeding and eating model supported by decades of research to improve long-term healthy eating. We will discuss common mealtime challenges, appropriate age expectations, and helpful strategies to avoid the stress of short order cooking.
What we will cover:
  • Why many young children are picky eaters
  • An introduction to Satter’s Family Eating Model
  • Trusted and effective strategies to support family healthy eating
